1. Data we collect
ChikitsaOS collects the information your clinic provides to operate the platform: staff and patient records, appointments, clinical documentation, and billing data. We also collect basic usage and audit metadata (who accessed what, and when) for security and compliance.
2. How we use it
Data is used solely to provide the ChikitsaOS service to your organisation — scheduling, clinical workflows, billing, and reporting. We do not sell your data.
3. Storage & security
Patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored within India (AWS ap-south-1), and access is governed by role-based access control with full audit logging.
4. Retention & your rights
Records are retained for the periods required by applicable healthcare regulations. Your organisation controls its data and may request export or deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
