Our Story
ChikitsaOS was born in 2022 when our founders — a doctor and an engineer — spent three months in clinics across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities watching how patient care actually happens.
What they found: brilliant doctors spending 30% of their consultation time on documentation. Receptionists juggling three register books. Patients carrying physical files between hospitals. Billing done on paper, reconciled in Excel.
Existing HMS software was either too expensive, too complex, or designed for hospitals — not clinics. So we built ChikitsaOS from scratch, for the Indian clinic context.
Today we serve 2,000+ clinics across 18 states, and we are just getting started.
Doctor-first
Every feature we ship is validated with practising clinicians. We sit in clinics, watch real workflows, and build exactly what is needed — nothing more.
Privacy by design
We never monetise patient data. Privacy is not a feature — it is our foundation. We encrypt everything, log every access, and give patients full data portability.
India-native
We are built for Indian clinical workflows, Indian regulations (GST, ABDM, DISHA), and Indian infrastructure constraints. Offline-first where needed. WhatsApp over email.
